Paul T. Remmel, 100, of Allentown, formerly of Miami, FL, was received into the arms of his Lord on Sunday, October 23, 2011. Paul was a resident of Phoebe Home, Allentown. Born in Fullerton, he was a son of the late Tilghman and Florence (Young) Remmel. Paul worked in the Thermometer Business for many years until 1958, and worked for the County of Lehigh from 1960-1975. He was a Christian.

Survivors: Daughter: Jacqueline L. Schaffer of Allentown; Grandson: Kevin L. Schaffer of Allentown; Granddaughter: Kerry A. Haupt and her husband Edward M. of Fogelsville; Sister: Betty Jane Heiney of Catasauqua; Great-grandchildren: Haley Sherick, Matthew Haupt, Michael Haupt. Paul was predeceased by his former wife Mabel (Nagle) Yurick and by his siblings: Marguarite, Marjorie, Ruth, Anna, Martha, Theodore, Alfred, William, Frederick and Garfield.
