Marjorie I. Baus, 88, formerly of Catasauqua died Sunday March 21, at Cedarbrook, South Whitehall Township, PA.

She was married to the late Franklin H. Baus.

Born in Fullerton, she was the daughter of the late Tilghman and Florence F. (Young) Remmel.

Marjorie worked for many years as a trimmer for Fuller Sports Wear before retiring. Prior to that she worked at the former General Ribbon Mills of Catasauqua. She was a member of the former Grace United Methodist Church of Catasauqua.

Survivors: Surviving is her sister, Betty Jane, wife of David Heiney of Catasauqua; brothers, Paul Remmel of Allentown, Fredrick and his wife Lorraine Remmel of Northampton; many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her son, Franklin D. Baus; four brothers; and four sisters.

Services: Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, March 26, 2010 at Arlington Cemetery, 3843 Lehigh Street, Whitehall, PA 18052. The Brubaker Funeral Home, Inc. is in charge of arrangements. Online condolences may be made at www.brubakerfuneralhome.com.
