Lena Fenner passed away at Sturgis Regional Long Term Care (Berry) Unit on June 7, 2006.

Lena Fenner was born at Sterling, Colorado on November 22, 1908 to Jacob & Olinda (Engleman) Sinner. Lena was united in marriage to Fred Elwood in Sterling, Co. on June 1, 1927. She was then united in marriage to Ralph Fenner in Rapid City on October 2, 1978. Lena and Ralph enjoyed their retirement years together, they particularly enjoyed camping and fishing. She was a lifetime member of the Ladies Auxiliary, and a member at the Peace Lutheran Church in Rapid City.

Lena was preceded in death by her parent and her two husbands Fred Elwood and Ralph Fenner, son- Vernon Elwood, four brothers, two sisters, two half sisters.

She is survived by a son, Clyde & Vera Elwood of Nisland, daughter, Dorothy & Jess Rainbold of Eminence, MO, and 20 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

Burial at Pine Lawn Memorial Park in Rapid City.
