Funeral services for Fred V. Elwood, who died Tuesday at a local hospital, will be held at 2 pm Friday at Peace Lutheran Church with Rev. W. A. Robert officiating. Burial will be in Pine Lawn Cemetery under the direction of Behrens Mortuary. Elwood was born in Beatrice, Neb., on April 2, 1902. He married Lena Finner on June 1927 in Colorado. They came to Vale in 1932 and lived there until 1935 when they moved to Capital. Moving to Rapid City in 1938, they have lived ice Elwood was a profession- Church of which he was a member. He is survived by his widow, 8 St. Anne St.: and two sons. Vernon Chadron Neb., and Clyde, Rapid City; one daughter, Mrs. Jesse (Dorothy) Rambolt. Eminence, Mo.; 20 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; two brothers, Faren, Fort Morgan, Colo., and Floyd, Sterling, Colo., and one sister, Mrs. Frances Burton, Coin Iowa
