Ed was born to T.D. and Laura May Farmer on July 19, 1939 in Corsicana, TX. He was one of the 11 children, 7 sisters and 3 brothers.
He worked road construction starting at a young age, then moved to Gillette and worked construction.
He married Emma Lou Vigil on August 30, 1963.
He owned and operated Ed's Trouble Shooting and Diesel Repair for several years. He then took a job with Cordero Rojo Mine where he retired in 2002.
He has 5 daughters and 1 son. Numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He loved spending time with his family. His grandchildren and great-grandchildren were the light of his life. He also enjoyed going to the car races and talking about cars.
He is preceded in death by his father, mother, wife, one sister, and two brothers.
