Dorothy passed away peacefully on April 15, 2015, with her two sons and one of her daughters-in-law by her side. Born on September 3, 1931, in Colfax, WA, Dorothy moved to Sacramento in 1969. Dorothy loved traveling, bowling, gardening, working puzzles, and more than anything spending time with family and friends. She was a big fan of Snoopy and the Sacramento Kings. At the core of Dorothy's life was her devotion to the Catholic faith. She was a strong and courageous woman who lovingly raised twin sons, David and Dan, both of whom survive her along with two daughters-in-law, three grandchildren. and one sister. Dorothy brought warmth and happiness to everyone she met. A viewing and rosary will be held from 5-7:30 pm on April 29 at Calvary Catholic Cemetery located at 7101 Verner Ave., Sacramento. A Funeral Mass will be at 11 am on April 30 at St. Lawrence Catholic Church, 4325 Don Julio Blvd., North Highlands, CA 95660, followed by interment at Calvary Catholic Cemetery. Gifts of remembrance in Dorothy's name can be made to St. Lawrence Catholic
