Obituary: Teutopolis Press – May 18, 1950

Anthony Niebrugge 58, died Tuesday morning at his home in Green Creek. Niebrugge, a retired farmer has been in ill health for the past year.

He is survived by his wife, Anna; eleven children, Paul and Lawrence both of Effingham, Johanna, a nurse in the Shelbyville hospital, Alphonse, Martha, Ambrose, Dolores, and Anthony Jr. at home, Herman and Richard, students in the Josephinum seminary at Worthington, Ohio and Sister Mary Agatha of Mishawaka, Ind, three brothers, Ben of Fulda, Canada, Joe of Effingham and John of Green Creek, one sister, Mrs. Joe Bloemer of Effingham, three half-brothers, August, Ed and Clem all of Effingham also two half sisters Mrs. Frances Wienstroer and Mrs. Marie Sieler of St. Louis.

The body was taken to the Habing funeral home in Teutopolis and later to the family residence. The funeral will be held Friday morning at 9 am in St Mary's church at Green Creek. Burial will follow in the Green Creek church cemetery.
