Clara Christjansen, 97, of Bradley, formerly of Momence, died Saturday, Dec. 2, 2000 at Bradley Royale Healthcare Center.
Visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. until the 11 a.m. Mass Tuesday at St. Patrick’s Church in Momence, where she was a member. Rev. Denis White will officiate.
Burial will be in St. Patrick’s Cemetery in Momence.
Memorials may be made for Masses or to St. Patrick Catholic Church.
She was born Jan. 12, 1903 in Momence the daughter of Frank and Mary Adamski Bydalek.
Her husband, Harry Christjansen whom she married Jan. 25, 1922 at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Momence died Dec. 11, 1985.
Surviving are one son and daughter-in-law, Maynard and Barbara Christjansen of Vero Beach, Fla; two daughters, Harriet Maass of Kankakee, and Joanne Manns of Park Forest; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Two sisters, Bertha Schuba and Pauline Thyfault; and one great-granddaughter, Nicole Brazil, are deceased.
