EAST MOLINE - Services for Gertrude M. Koenig, 71, of 4558 7th St., will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Mary's Catholic Church, East Moline. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, East Moline.
Visitation will be 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at Van Hoe Funeral Home Ltd., East Moline, with a liturgy service at 7 p.m.
Mrs. Koenig died Saturday at her home.
Gertrude Tyranska married Wesley Koenig in 1938 in Chicago.
She was a member of the church.
She enjoyed playing cards, bowling and spending time with family.
Memorials may be made to the Diabetes Association.
Survivors include daughters, Sue Hernandez, Bettendorf; Carol Freier, Blackhawk, S.D.; and Bev Cornmesser, Davenport; sons, Wesley, Peoria, Ariz.; Gerry, Sparks, Nev.; Darrell, East Moline; and Dale, Moline; 16 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; sisters, Jean Zerinskas, Chicago; and Sister Mary Archangela, Lamont, Ill.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Barbara Koenig.
