Orville Uehling Services Slated

Uehling - Services for Orville Uehling, 66, will be Monday at 2
p.m. at Congregational United Church of Christ, Rev. Donald
Bosworth will officiate. Masonic services will be at the grave.

Visitation will be Sunday at the Wollmer and Warne Funeral Home
from 1-9 p.m. and Monday at the church from 11 a.m. until service
time.

Mr. Uehling was born Oct. 17, 1902 at Uehling. He lived here his
entire lifetime. He died Friday morning at Bergan Mercy Hospital,
Omaha, following a four-month illness.

Mr. Uehling was married to Arwilda Lowe in David City on Feb. 3.
1934. He was a member of the Congregational United Church of
Christ, Uehling; AF & AM No. 91, Oakland; Uehling Lions; Board of
Dodge County Soil Conservation District, Dodge County
representative of Maple Creek Watershed Board; Served on the school
board; was a member of the board of directors of Uehling Co-op
Credit Union; and a member and past president of Farmers Co-op
Association.

He and his wife were awarded a special Nebraska Centennial Honor in
1967 for conservation accomplishments on their farm which has been
in the family for 100 years.

He is survived by his widow, three sons, Russell, Uehling; Douglas,
Lincoln, and Stephen, Uehling; two grandchildren, two brothers,
Windsor, Uehling; Kenneth, Oakland; two sisters; Mrs. Henry
Osterloh, Hooper and Mrs. Harry Peterson, Fremont.

Burial will be in Uehling Town Cemetery east of Uehling.
