Windsor H. Uehling
Uehling - Windsor H. Uehling, 78, of Uehling, died Wednesday
afternoon a Logan Valley Manor in Lyons after a two year illness.
Mr. Uehling was born May 11, 1906, in Uehling. He lived his entire
life in the area and was a retired farmer.
He was a member of First Congregational Church UCC of Uehling, The
farm Bureau and Tekamah Shrine Club. He was also a charter member
of the Uehling Lyons Club, a past director of the livestock
Producers Association and a past member of the District 49 School
Board.
Mr. Uehling was also a 50-year 32-degree Mason, past master of
Oakland Masonic Lodge 91 and an associate patron of Job's
Daughters.
He married Frances Hartzell on June 4, 1938, in Omaha. She
survives.
Other survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Richard (Jean) Tonjes of
Newton, Kan.; two sisters, Alma Osterloh of Hooper and Edna
Peterson of Fremont, and two grandchildren. Funeral services will
be at 2 p.m. Saturday at First Congregational Church UCC of
Uehling. The Rev. Hiram Lilley will officiate. Burial will be at
Uehling Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 1 to 9 p.m. Friday at Warne Funeral Home
Uehling Chapel. Visitation will also be from 12:30 p.m. until
service time Saturday at the church.
