CARMELA MACRI

Mrs. Macri Dies at 72

Mrs. Carmela Macri, 72, of 318 1/2 12th Street, wife of the late Domenick Macri, died today (March 1, 1961) at home after a short illness.

A native of Italy, Mrs. Macri was a naturalized U.S. citizen and made her home in this city for the last 39 years.

She was a member here of Anime Sante Del Purgatorio and Madonna Perpetuo Del Soccorso Society.

Mrs. Macri was the mother of the late Mrs. Teresa DeGennaro.

Surviving are four sons, Patsy, Edward, Anthony, and James Macri and three daughters, Mrs. Anthony Arone, Mrs. Harry Alfearie, and Mrs. Joseph Serge, all of this city. Also surviving are 18 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Funeral services will be held at 8:45 a.m. Saturday at the Magaddino Memorial Chapel and at 9:30 a.m. at St. Joseph's Church.

Burial will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery.
