Soon after Moses, along with 10 of his children headed west on a steamboat on the Ohio river. It is believed Moses had become ill once they arrived at thier destination in Jefferson City. The family departing by wagon, Moses is thought to have passed during the wagon train in Versailles, MO.
Henry, the eldest, still remaining in Pennsylvania became a State Senator and was later known to have lectured around Missouri.
