The funeral of Paul R. Glusco, 58 of York who was fatally injured Saturday when his bakery truck overturned on the Pleasant Grove road, two miles west of York Haven, will be held on Wednesday.

State Trooper said Glusco was proceeding eastwardly from Newberrytown to York Haven when the vehicle began to swerve back and forth, threw the operator onto the highway and then rolled over on its top, pinning the man.

The trooper said his 10-year old son, Thomas, who was riding in the vehicle, escaped injury. He was pronounced dead at the scene, county coroner attributed death to a crushed chest and multiple internal injuries.

He was a son of the late Alex and Beatrice Balaz Glusco.

Surviving are his wife, Charlotte Knaub Glusco, seven children, Gerald Eugene, Creighton D. Glusco Sr both of York, Patricia , Michael, Ralph, Thomas and Joel glusco, all at home; nine grandchildren; two brothers, Andrew Glusco, Fresno, Cal., and Joseph glusco, Los Angeles, Cal., and three sisters, Mary Warren of York and Sallie Plutt and Anna Guyer both of Harrisburg.

Glusco had been employed by Fox Baking Company for 29 years. He was a member of Liberty Fire Company and Social Club in NOrth York.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 am Wednesday at the Zeigler Funeral Home, Manchester. The Rev. John L. Kugle, pastor of Quickel's Lutheran church, Zion view, will officiate.

Burial will be in Mount Rose Cemetery.
