Charles Michael Bode, 64, died Sunday, December 13, 2015 in Fort Worth with his daughters at his side. A graveside service with Jim Cox officiating will be held on Thursday, December 17, 2015 at 1PM at the Oakview Cemetery in Mullin, Texas. Arrangements are under the direction of Melton-Kitchens Funeral Home. Charles Michael Bode was born on February 24, 1951 in Breckenridge to Charles A. Bode and Elaine Simpson Bode. He married Nancy D. Johnson on September 22, 1973 in Breckenridge and she preceded him in death on April 28, 2013. He had worked in the oil business for TP, Sun Energy, and Oryx. Later he was employed by Sandy Creek Marina. Survivors include daughters, Ginger Roxanne McWilliams and husband, Robby of Leander, Amber Denise Boase and husband, Troy of Stephenville, and Heather Rhea Groves and husband, Jared of McKinney; grandchildren, Alyson Rose McWilliams and Caralyn Sage McWilliams both of Leander and Rainey Denise Boase, Madisyn Dawn Boase both of Stephenville, and Bode Riley Groves of McKinney; a sister, Ileta Devier of Houston; and long-time family friend, Stephanee Russell of Breckenridge. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, and brother, Iven Leslie Bode.
