John Michael " Mike" Kirk, 71, of Anderson, died December 31, 2015 at his home in Andderson.
He was born on June 21, 1944 in Anderson, the son of John F. and Margaret (Clawson) Kirk. He owned and operated Quality Discount Muffler for 20 years, retiring in 2006. He served in the US Army Americal Division and was a member of Christ Lutheran Church. He enjoyed golf, traveling, time at the pool and working in his yard.
He is survived by his wife, Brenda (Bronnenberg) Kirk, whom he married December 28, 1984; daughter, Kim Kirk Bargo, Stepson, Eric J. ( Stacie) Buxton, stepdaughter, Kelly C. Buxton, Grandchildren: Dusty A. (Courtney) Bargo, Brandon S. (Babette) Bargo,Blake Buxton, Emily Buxton, Alex Buxton. Great Grandchildren; Aundrea Fedrick, Braxton Bargo and Brinkley Bargo, Krosley Bargo, and special cousin, Shirley (Terry) Stockton and his special pet, Max.
He was preceded in death by his son, Jamie Kirk in 2011, sister, Sandra Kirk Stapleton in 2004", and his parents.
