Beaver Dam Daily Citizen, Mon. Dec. 22, 1975, p. 16:1. JUNEAU.-Elmer (Cocky) Hartzheim, 81, of 371 S. Main St. Juneau died on Sat. Dec. 20 at Hillside Hospital, Beaver Dam, following a lingering illness. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, Dec. 24 at 9:30 a.m. at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Juneau. Rev. William Zelly will officiate and burial will be in the parish cemetery. Mr. Hartzheim was born on July 24, 1894, in Juneau, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Michael Hartzheim. He married the former Irma Schrap at Immaculate Conception Church in Juneau on April 16, 1917. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus and the Holy Name Society. Survivors include two sons, Dr. James Hartzheim, Minocqua, and Leo Joseph Hartzheim, Juneau; two daughters, Mary Ruth Brady, East Troy, and Patricia Hartzheim of Juneau; also 15 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, five children, and two brothers. Friends may call at the Berndt Funeral Home in Juneau of Tuesday after 4 p.m.
