TIBBETTS, Geneva R. 81, of Largo, Florida, passed away Monday, February 29, 2016 at Largo Medical Center. She was born April 29, 1934 in Blue Earth, Minnesota, the daughter of Robert and Mary (Holeman) Weitzel.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, George T. Tibbetts, Sr. Survivors include sons, George T. Jr., and fiancée Deb Lay, Robert F. and his wife, Kathy, and Gregory T; a daughter, Cynthia M. Riordan; a brother, Richard Weitzel; sisters, Nancy Felice, JoAnn Humphrey, and Geraldine Smith; grandchildren, George Tibbetts, III, Jeremy Tibbetts, Robert D. Tibbetts, Daniel Tibbetts, Michael LaPlante, Robert Tibbetts, and Autumn Tibbetts; and 12 great grandchildren.

Visitation will be Friday, March 4, 2016 from 1-3pm at Garden Sanctuary Funeral Home, 7950 131st St. Seminole, where funeral services will follow at 3pm. Entombment will follow at Garden Sanctuary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to Alzheimer's Association. Garden Sanctuary FH
