Richard "Dick" Weitzel, 79, of Rocky Ridge, OH died Monday, August 8, 2016 at St. Vincent Medical Center, Toledo, OH. He was born on December 21, 1936 in Brush Creek, MN to Robert and Mary Pauline (Holman) Weitzel. On September 21, 1979 in Port Clinton, OH he married Daisy Pressley, and she survives. Dick worked for Standard Products in Port Clinton for over 40 years and Stone Co. in Ottawa Lake, MI for 10 years as well. He served in the U.S. Army in a tank division in Germany during Peacetime. Dick was a member of the Operating Engineers Local #18 and an NRA member for many years. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and went to Wyoming hunting each year with his wife and family members. Dick really enjoyed getting together at Christmas time with his family.

In addition to his loving wife, Daisy, of 38 years, Dick is survived by his daughter, Camila Ireland of Maumee, OH, sons, Danny (Brandy) Kitzler of Rocky Ridge, OH, Robert (Tommi) Kitzler of Oak Harbor, OH, Donald (Robyn) Kitzler of Graytown, OH, William (Amy) Kitzler of Graytown, OH, sister, Nancy Felice of Buffalo, NY, 22 grandchildren, and 10 great grandchildren, and special nephews, Teddy Tibbitts of FL, Ricky Tibbitts of AL, and Greg Tibbitts of MI. He was preceded in death by his parents, sister, Jeneava Tibbitts, son, James A. Kitzler, granddaughter, Tabitha Depner, sister-in-law, Linda Pressley, In-Laws, John & Edna Pressley, and brother-in-law, Ange Felice.

Visitation for Dick will be on Thursday, August 11, 2016 from 2-8 p.m. at the Robinson-Walker Funeral Home & Crematory, Oak Harbor, where funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Friday, August 12, 2016 by Pastor Holli Burkard. Interment will be in Elliston Cemetery, Elliston, OH with military graveside services conducted by the Oak Harbor American Legion Post #114 and the Oak Harbor V.F.W. Post #8732. Memorial contributions in memory of Dick may be given to the American Heart Association or a charity of the donor's choice.
