Maxine T. Collison, 64, of Carroll, died Wednesday, May 15, 1991, at Mercy Hospital in Des Moines.

Mass of the Christian burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, May 18, at St. Lawrence Church in Carroll. Burial will be at Mount Olivet Cemetery in Carroll.

Father Frank Nemmers will be celebrant. Lector will be R. Scott Rhinehart. Gift bearers will be Melissa Maxine Rhinehart, Aaron Beck and Leasha Beck.

Casket bearers will be Dr. Mark Collison, Richard A. Collison, Alan Collison, Michael Mosman, James Middendorff and R.Scott Rhinehart.

The St. Anthony Nursing Alumni Association will provide an honor guard.

Visitation will begin at 2:30 p.m. Friday at Twit Funeral Home in Carroll. Rosary will be recited at 3 p.m. Friday. There will be a vigil service at 7:30 p.m. Friday.

Born Jan. 22, 1927, in Carroll, she was a daughter of Louis W. and Theresa M. (Eischeid) Drees. She graduated from the St. Anthony School of Nursing and was registered nurse.

On Sept. 3, 1949, she was married to Richard W. Collison at St. Lawrence Church in Carroll by Father Arthur Poeckes.

Mrs. Collison was a homemaker.

She was a member of St. Lawrence Church, the church's Ladies Guild and the Saint Anthony Nursing Alumni Association.

Mrs. Collison is survived by her husband, Dr. Richard W. Collison, of Carroll; her children: Barbara and her husband, Michael Mosman, of Carroll; Cheryl and her husband, Jim Middendorf, of Des Moines; Dr. Mark Collison and his wife, Cheri, of Des Moines; Deborah and her husband, R. Scott Rhinehart, of Sioux City; Joan Collison of Carroll; Richard A. Collison and his wife, Sheila, of San Fancisco, Calif.; Nancy and her husband, Dr. John Cattaneo, of Kansas City, Kan.; Alan Collison of Kansas City, Kan.; and Tracy Collison of Carroll; 16 grandchildren; and brothers and sisters: Louis W. Drees Jr. and his wife, Teddy, of Fort Lauderdale, Fla.; Donald T. Drees and his wife, Jane, of Carroll; Howard G. Drees and his wife, Pat, of Carroll; LaVonne Daeges of Carroll; Dorothy Eckhart of Springfield, Mo.; and Douglas A. Drees of Carroll.

She was preceded in death by her parents.
