Age 50. Passed away Sept. 9 at the residence following a lingering illness. Mr. Zirbes was born in Racine, May 23, 1897. He had been District Supervisor for the E. R. Godfrey & Sons Co. until the time of his illness. He was a member of St. Patrick's Church, Elks Club, Lodge No. 252, U. C. T. and Knights of Columbus.
Surviving are his wife, Ella; one daughter, Mrs. Harold Krusienski; two grandchildren; father, Joseph Zirbes; one sister, Miss Isabelle Zirbes, all of Racine. Funeral services will be held Friday at 8:30 am at the Maresh Funeral Home, Main at 8th St. and at 9 am at St. Patrick's Church, Rev. Thomas Riordon officiating. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. Friends may call at the Maresh Funeral Home Thursday noon and until time of services. the Rosary will be recited Thursday evening at 8 o'clock at the funeral home.
