Harold E Rueger, of Antigo, died Wednesday, June 22, 2016 at Aspirus Wausau Hospital. He was 84 years old. He was born on July 22, 1931 in Antigo, a son of Herman and Elsie (Simmons) Rueger. He married Nancy Loper on August 28, 1954 at St. John Catholic Church in Antigo.

He served in the United States Army from 1948 - 1951 having been stationed in Germany. He was a hardworking man and provided well for his family.

Survivors include his wife Nancy, three daughters, Sue Rueger, Karen (Stuart) Taube, Barbara A. Rueger; five sons, Mike Rueger, Tom E. (Colleen "Kelly") Rueger, Andy Rueger, Douglas H. Rueger, Donny Rueger and his girlfriend Kelly; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; three sisters.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister and three brothers.

In honor of Harry's wishes a family graveside service with military honors will take place in Elmwood Cemetery.
