Mrs. Elizabeth Ruble of 123 Chestnut St. was dead on arrival at Marysville's Memorial Hospital on Monday morning. She had been ill, however, death was unexpected.
The daughter of Leonard and Margaret Anna (Gunderman) Hoffmann, she married Edgar Harrison Ruble on March 25, 1922 in Union County, Ohio. Her husband preceded her in death in 1944. Mrs. Ruble was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, McGuffey Club, American Legion Auxiliary, Rainbow Auxiliary and DAV Auxiliary.
She is survived by daughters, Mrs. William (Dorothy) Herd and Mrs. Marvin (Joan) Shumway, both of Marysville; a son, Jerry Ruble of Bay City, Michigan; one brother, Fred Hoffman of Connorsville, IN; 13 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
