HER DEATH IS SUDDEN
MRS. JOHN ZURBORG DIES WHILE HERE ON VISIT.
Was from Cleveland and Had Visited Husband's Parents at Edina —Died While Being Hurried to Doctor's Office.

Mr. and Mrs. John Zurborg and two children came from their home at Cleveland, O., last week to attend the golden anniversary of the wedding of Mr. Zurborg's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Clement Zurborg, at Edina, Mo., an event that was celebrated last Saturday. The family then came to Quincy and were guests of the family of Mr. Zurborg's brother-in-law, B. E. Schlepphorst, 638 Washington street.

Her Death Is Sudden.
Yesterday afternoon Mr. and Mrs. Zurborg and children, Mr. and Mrs. Schlepphorst, two ladies who are here from Covington, Ky., visiting, and Mrs. Witte went out to the Soldiers' Home in a street car about 3 o'clock and about 5 o'clock went over to the home of George Ostermiller, opposite the Soldiers' Home on Twelfth street, remaining there until nearly 11 o'clock. The party then started to walk to the street railway at Ninth and Locust, and when between Tenth and Ninth Mrs. Zurborg was taken ill. Morris Adler was passing driving a motor car and took the party aboard and hastened in the direction of the office of Dr. J. W. E. Bitter at Twelfth and State. Arrived at their destination Mrs. Zurborg was carried to the office door and when the doctor responded to the call she was carried inside. An examination made by the doctor showed the patient to be dead and that she had been dead for some minutes. Mrs. Zurborg had complained of feeling cold during the drive in the automobile but after Twelfth and Spring was passed did not speak and it is presumed that her death occurred at that point.

Inquest Is Held.
Coroner Amen conducted an inquest on the body of the deceased at the Freiburg chapel, 813 Maine street, at 10:30 o'clock this forenoon, with Dr. Bitter as foreman of the jury. Messrs. Zurborg and Schlepphorst and Dr. Bitter testified and on their evidence, particularly that of the doctor, the jury returned a verdict finding that death had been caused by cardiac thrombosis, or blood clot on the heart, superinduced by a fatty degeneration of the muscles of the heart, and by physical over-exertion by walking rapidly from the Ostermiller home to reach the street railway line in time to catch the last street car from Ninth and Locust.
Mrs. Zurborg was 38 years old and a native of Cleveland. She had been afflicted with heart affection for some years and pains in the chest that she suffered at times were ascribed to neuralgia.
It was not known up to noon whether the body would be taken back to Cleveland or buried at Edina, where Mr. Zurborg's parents have resided for thirty-one years.
