Edina, Mo., Jan. 8. — John C. Zuroborg [sic], 92, died this morning at 4:45 in a rest home at Lewistown. He had resided here five years and had been in ill health some time.
Funeral services will be held Saturday morning at 10 in St, Joseph Catholic church here. The Rev. Fred Yehle will officiate. Burial will be in St. Joseph cemetery.
Mr. Zuroborg [sic] was born at Covington, Ky., Feb. 2, 1872, a son of Clem and Bernadine Rehling Zuroborg [sic]. The family moved here when he was a young man. He was one of nine children. Mr. Zuroborg [sic] was a retired carpenter and had lived in several states before retiring and returning here in 1946. He was first married to Julia Scanlon, who died in 1919. He married Elizabeth Betchell [sic] in Cleveland, O. in 1945.
Surviving are his widow of Cleveland; a son, Lawrence of Edina; a daughter, Mrs. Frank (Nora) Ruxlow of Edina; a brother, Albert, of West Point, Ia.; a sister, Mrs. Henrietta Schlepphorst of Quincy, Ill.; four grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
