Peter Keller graduated from Timber Lake SD High School in 1953. He took over the family farm and lived there throughout his life. He dug wells throughout the area and had the ability to "witch" water. He played drums in several bands. He had a passion for restoration of antique cars, trucks, and tractors. And he loved to whip up snickerdoodle cookies-like 1100 to 1200 a batch.

He is survived by his wife of 60 years Fauneil (Simpson); children: Suellen of Sioux Falls, SD; Lawrence (Lori) of Kalispel, MT; Marcie of Mobridge, SD; and Angela of Atsugi, Japan; 15 grandchildren; and 12 great grandchildren.
