Born Dec. 7, 1872 in Rheinwald, Russia, he came to America in 1909, to Chicago, and the following year moved to Sheboygan and made his home here since. He was employed as an enamel at Kohler Co. for 15 years and for the past 16 years was employed at Polar Ware Co.
Survivors are: his wife; six children, Christ Jr. of Sheboygan, Fred of Ripon, Mrs. Oliver (Katherine) Willis and Mrs. Alvin ( Christine) Brown of Portland, Ore., Mrs. Elmer (Pauline) Eckert of St. Louis, Mo., and Anton of Minneapolis; 22 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren .
Funeral services will be Monday at 1:30 p.m. at Ballhorn Funeral chapels with Rev. August Grollmus of Saint John's Evangelical and Reformed church officiating. Burial will be made in Lutheran cemetery.
