Elnora Helen Huber, 92, of Scottsbluff, Nebraska passed peacefully through death into eternal life December 16, 2016 at the Residency Care Center.

Elnora was born May 26, 1924 at Bayard, Nebraska to Henry and Catherine Bauer. She received her education through Minatare Public Schools.

She met the love of her life, Henry Huber, and they married on January 12, 1941 in Harrisburg, Nebraska. They made their home in Scottsbluff, where they shared 68 years of marriage. To this union, three children we born: Carol, Henry, and Gary.

Family and friends were Elnora’s passion. Elnora enjoyed caring for her children, sewing, cooking, baking and gardening. Her friends and family have been blessed with many beautiful quilts handmade with love. She was a hard-working woman who deeply loved her family and taught them many life lessons. Dedicated to her faith and church, Elnora was a lifelong member of Salem Congregational Church. She was an active member of Reach Out Group #2.

Elnora was the matriarch of her family and words cannot express how much she will be missed.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her brothers Kenneth and Richard, her sisters Virginia and Neva, her husband Henry, and grandson Henry Jason Huber.
