"W.E. Psyk Dies, Hurt Assisting Fellow Worker"
Funeral Services for Walter E. Psyk, 37, of 1162 West Belden Avenue, who died yesterday morning after a short illness caused by internal injuries suffered one week ago when he carried a fellow employee to the Dietz Company's first aid room, will be conducted Tuesday morning at 9 o'clock at the home and a half hour later in Sacred Heart Church. Burial will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery.
Dr. Stanley T. Krzywicki, who attended him, said that Psyk had complained of severe pains in his back the day after he carried his fellow employe to the first aid room. His condition grew worse and the strain did not respond to treatments.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Mary Psyk; one daughter, Miss Virginia Psyk; two sons, Edward and Eugene Psyk; his father, Michael Psyk; two brothers, Anthony and Stanley Psyk and a sister Mrs. Frances Bargielska.
