Mrs. Frances Psyk Bargielski of 314 Stinard Ave. died yesterday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. James Killoren, 303 Blackmore road, town of Camillus.
Mrs. Bargielski, a native of Poland, lived in this city 65 years.
She retired recently after many years service with the New York Telephone Co. She was a member of the New York Telephone Co. Pioneers. Mrs. Bargielski was the widow of John Bargielskie [sic].
Surviving, besides Mrs. Killoren, are two other daughters, Mrs. Melvin Silvieus and Mrs. Frances Tornarolli, both of Syracuse; two sons, Raymond and Arthur Bargielski, Both of New York City; seven grandchildren, a brother, Anthony Psyk of Syracuse and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be at 8:30 a.m. Tuesday at 314 Stinard Ave. and 9 a.m. in Holy Rosary Church. Burial will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery. Friends may call at the home at their convenience.

According to the 1920 United States Federal Census, John and his wife Frances Bargelski [the census has them listed as "Bargelska," and John's wife as "Francis," which are incorrect] resided at 535 Richmond Avenue in a home that they rented in Syracuse, New York. John was 34 years old and born Poland about 1886. He immigrated to the U.S. in 1904 when he was about 18 years of age. His occupation was "Roll Man" in the "Steel Work" industry. Frances was 33 years old and born in Poland about 1887. She immigrated to the U.S. in 1892 when she was about 5 years old. Residing with them were their five children, all of whom were born in New York state. The were, daughters: Marion, 10 years old, Rita, 8 and Frances 6; and sons: Raymond, 3 years, 11/12ths of a year old and Arthur, 7/12ths of a year old. Also living with them were John's father-in-law and brother-in-in law. They were Frances' father, Michael Psyk and her brother Stanley Psyk. Michael Psyk was 58, born in Poland about 1862. He immigrated to the U.S. in 1889. He is listed as being married ["M"] He became a naturalized citizen in 1902. He was unable to read or write but he was able to speak English. His occupation was "Laborer" in the "Steel Mill" industry. Stanley Psyk was 27 years old, single and born in New York state about 1893. His occupation was "Soldier" in the U.S. Army.

[Note: the census sheet was enumerated on 14 and 15 of January, 1920. This was only days before John Bargelski's death on January 29, 1920.]

Frances' father was Michael Psyk. Her brothers were Walter E. Psyk, Stanley F. Psyk and Anthony Psyk.
