Funeral Services for John Rube, 85, of 536 W. Terrace Ave. will be held at 10 a.m. tomorrow in the John N. Lisle Chapel. Burial will be in the Mountain View Cemetery.
Rube died Saturday in a local hospital following a long illness. He was born in Russia and had lived in Fresno 56 years. He retired as a warehouseman in 1948. He was a member of the First Lutheran Church.
Surviving are his widow, Mollie [Amalia Kanner]; three sons, Henry, Pete and Walter, all of Fresno; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
