Jean Estelle Medlin Antley was born to Amos and Molly Medlin on April 29, 1935 in Pilot Oak, Kentucky and passed away on November 17, 2018 at her home in West Monroe, Louisiana. Jean was married to Lionel “Richard” Antley on August 24, 1954 and they had two children whom she dedicated her life to.
She enjoyed bowling, music, photography, cooking, gardening, working in the yard, and visiting with everyone. Jean was an avid collector of Hallmark and Precious Moments ornaments for thirty-plus years. She is preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Lionel “Richard” Antley; son, Richard Steven Antley; her parents; brothers, Amos Medlin, Jr., Jack Medlin, and Thomas Medlin; and twin sister, Adele Hanson.
Survivors include her son, Timothy Antley and wife Donna; daughter-in-law, Kay Antley; grandchildren, Traci Michelle, Anthony Steven, and Haley Skylar; great-grandchildren, Mia Self and Cole Self; brothers, Don Medlin and Robert Medlin; and sister, Fay Saterfield.
Pallbearers will be Robert Dean Saterfield, Ronnie Medlin, Stevie Hendrix
Visitation will be held from 5:00PM until 8:00PM Tuesday, November 20, 2018 at Mulhearn Funeral Home, West Monroe.
