AMOS MEDLIN, SR.
Funeral services for Amos M. Medlin, Sr., 72, of New Orleans, were held at 11 am today in the chapel of Spears Funeral Home of Monroe. The Rev. O. C. Clark officiated with interment being held in Memorial Park Cemetery of Monroe. Mr. Medlin, a former Monroe resident, was a native of Pace, Tennessee. He was a retired security guard for the Louisiana State Civil Service Department and a member of the Temple Baptist Church of Monroe. He died Monday in Merrero following an apparent heart attack.
Mr. Medlin is survived by his wife:
Mrs. Mollie Medlin of New Orleans
Five sons:
Amos M. Medlin, Jr., of Baton Rouge
Jack Medlin of Oak Grove
Tommy Medlin of New Orleans
Don Medlin of Monroe
Bobby Medlin of Monroe
Three daughters:
Mrs. Jean Antley of Monroe
Mrs. Faye Saterfield of Monroe
Mrs. Adele Hanson of Lafayette
One brother:
Pete Medlin of Eunice
Three sisters:
