Victor Lee Pedersen was the son of Lars and Leta (McKinney) Pedersen. He was born on a farm 5 &1/2 miles north of Hardy Nebraska on March 08, 1928. Victor passed away at 4am January 8th, 2019 at the Thayer County Health Services Hospital in Hebron Nebraska. Victor was 90 Years and 10 months of age at his death.

Victor grew up on a farm north of Hardy Nebraska. While hunting at a young age he had an accident with his shotgun and lost two fingers and his thumb and the use of his left ear. Victor farmed for eight years North of Hardy before becoming a truck driver for Hermon Brother Company for 25 years.

Victor married in 1949 to Velma Achterberg and had a son Gary Lee Pedersen who resides at the VA home in Grand Island Nebraska. Gary had two children Gary Junior and Victoria Faye they had four kids Logan, Brody, Xavier and Kherington.

After his divorce to Velma he married Roberta Klingenberger in 1960 and had two son’s Harold and Terry. Harold had two Children Kathy and Michael and two grand kids Riley and Kanen.

After divorcing Roberta, he married Lorraine Kohl in 1981. Lorraine two son’s Curtis who passed away in Texas and son John Prettyman and wife Lesley of Yuma, Colorado and their two children, Daniel and Micaela.

Lorraine held Victors hand until his death.

Victor was preceded in death by his parents Lars and Leta, his brothers Gene Leroy, Max Leon, Lloyd Leo and sisters Alberta Bagley, Ruth Shotzman and Marie Nelsen.

He was survived by his wife Lorraine of Superior; sons Gary, Harold and Terry; 4 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; two brothers Lars of Superior Nebraska and Rex Pedersen and spouse Luz of Las Vegas Nevada.

Funeral services were held on Friday, January 11, 2019 at 2:00 pm from the Megrue-Price Funeral Home in Superior, Nebraska with Pastor Ben Poole officiating.

Music was “How Great Thou Art,” “Love Lifted Me,” “Precious Memories,” and “ I Will Remember You,” sung by Mary Hamburger with Carlita Price as the organist and recording of “I Want To Stroll All Over Heaven.”

Visitation was held on January 10, 2019 from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm.

Pallbearers were Rick Andreasen, Wylie Jensen, Tom Sorensen, Kirk Grove, Alex Petersen, Brendan Hathaway. Honorary Pallbearers Gary Pedersen, Harold Pedersen, Terry Pedersen, John Prettyman, Curtis Prettyman and all his grandchildren.

Interment was in the Evergreen Cemetery at Superior, Nebraska.

Memorials are suggested to go to the Church of Christ in Superior, Nebraska.
