He resided at Delaire Nursing home following a stroke for several years and was a lifelong resident of Elizabeth. After retiring from Diehl, he worked in maintenance at Elizabeth City Hall. He was ad member for over 63 years of the Polish Falcons next and the Falcon Bowling League 700 Club Honor Roll with a 726 average.
He was long time NY Yankees fan and enjoyed watching the games on television. He loved hot dogs, meat loaf and mashed potatoes and pot cheese and noodles.
His son in law and family gave him a surprise 80th birthday party as Big Stash's in Linden and his family and friends celebrated with him.
