There are some limited church records for Rohleder, Russia on the www.familysearch.org website. The following link (in Russian) shows an Alexander Dreiling, born 1 Sept 1889 to a Nicholas Dreiling and Rosa Dahl(?), which is probably a record of his birth. Link: https://tinyurl.com/yyhh9ysx
The parents of Alexander's father, Nicholas, were Dionisius Dreiling (1828-) and Katharina or Margaret Glassman (1831-). Susanna Dreiling was an older sister of Nicholas. There are four Dionsius Dreilings buried in the US, all of whom can be traced back via Susanna or Nicholas to their Russian namesake.
1. Dionysius A. “Dan” Dreiling (1897-1982)
2. Dionysius F. “Dan” Dreiling (1908-2003)
3. Dionysius P. “Dan” Dreiling (1887-1975)
4. Dionyuis Dreiling (1917-1928)
There is no gravestone for Alexander but his burial location is noted in the parish church death register. The register entry is in abbreviated Latin and some English.
