Salina -- Mrs. Andrew Riedel (Marharet) Riedel died Saturday at her home in Salina. She was 85. She was a member of the Sacred Heart Cathedral and the Ladies Guild.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Andrew in 1924 and a son, Adolph, in 1945.

Survivors include five sons, John M. Storm, Sacramento, Calif.; Joe Riedel, Topeka; Dan Riedel, Assaria; Al Riedel, Hays; and Ben Riedel, Morland; four daughters, Margaret Riedel, Hays; Mrs. Philomene Crabtree, Fort Madison, Iowa; Mrs. Victor Jacobs, Cortez, Colo.; and Mrs. Joe Ninty, Salina; one sister Elizabeth Dreiling, Hays; two brothers, Jake Dreiling, Denver; and Dan Dreiling, Englewood, Colo.; 34 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

Rosary services will be at 8:30 p.m. tonight at the Knights of Columbus Hall in St. Peter. Funeral mass will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday in St. Anthony’s Church, St. Peter. Burial will be in the St. Peter Cemetery.
