Audrey V. Peterson, 87, of Sheboygan, passed away Friday, March 14, 2014 at Pine Haven Christian Home.
Audrey was born November 4, 1926 in Sheboygan to Alexander and Lydia (Nikisch) Dotz. She attended Sheboygan Jefferson and Lincoln Elementary Schools and was a graduate of Sheboygan Central High School, Class of 1945.
On June 28, 1947 Audrey Dotz was united in marriage to James Peterson at Trinity Lutheran Church. He preceded her in death on April 24, 2008.
The couple enjoyed spending time together fishing and swimming at their cottage on Wilke Lake and sharing many happy times with other family members and friends.
Audrey was employed at H.C. Pranges for a few years. She was a faithful member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church.
Audrey is survived by many nieces, nephews, and sisters-in-law.
In addition to her parents and husband, James, Audrey was preceded in death by two brothers, Arthur (Blanche) Dotz and Bob Dotz.
A private family service will be held at a later date. A memorial fund has been established in her name for Good Shepherd Lutheran Church. Audrey’s family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the caregivers at Pine Haven Christian Home and Sharon S. Richardson Hospice for the care and compassion shown to her.
