Mollie Glantz Seibel of Billings was born March 9, 1917 to Christine and Peter Glantz in Hesper, MT. She was the 8th of 11 children. (Katy Goodman, Pete Glantz, George Glantz, Mavis Grooms, Christina Spadt, Pauline Dillman, Henry Glantz, Elizabeth Steinmetz, Alvina Willison, and Ann Euren)

Mollie married Reuben Alvin Seibel on January 21, 1932 in Forsyth, MT. She lived in Huntley where they worked on a beet farm, and where she also learned to drive a beet truck. Reuban and Mollie had 4 children, Elda Mae Latteral, Robert E. Seibel, Arline Joan Hawkins, and Alvin Seibel. They started Seibel & Sons Garbage business and operated a ranch in Blue Creek, where the hill-climbs and Briarwood are located. After selling their garbage business and ranch, they then owned and operated Taylor Bargain Center on Montana Avenue.

Upon retirement they moved to Checkerboard, Montana, where they took pride in owning a museum full of collectibles the two of them had accumulated throughout the years. They later moved to White Sulphur Springs, where they lived until he died.

In 1996 Mollie accepted the Lord as her Savior and was baptized. Mollie moved to Billings, MT, where she lived with her daughter Arline. She moved to Aspen Meadows in June of 2016, where she resided until her passing.

She is survived by her two sisters Elizabeth and Alvina and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

You could always find her volunteering to help and trying to stay busy, enjoying embroidery, crocheting, canning, and doing crossword puzzles. Even in the midst of difficulties, you would never hear her complain but see her smile and express gratefulness. She had such a pleasant, easy-going disposition and positive attitude.

Burial will be held at White Sulphur Springs on Friday, June 7 at 1:00 pm.
