Arlene Kay Biggs, 74, Westmoreland, TN. died June 13, 2019 at Westmoreland, TN.
On September 10th, 1944, Arlene was born at Coal Creek, Kansas to Louis and Bernadine (Winkler) Stegeman. She graduated from Frankfort High School in 1962 and from Jon Nave's Beauty School. Arlene married Harry Bolen in 1963. To this union they were blessed with two children, Brenda and Ricky. They divorced and in 1982, she later married J.L. Biggs and to their family they added J.L. Jr.
Arlene enjoyed spending time with her family, friends and numerous hobbies. She loved singing and it was something she was good at. Her years were spent working with her husband, J.L. at a grocery store they owned in Westmoreland. Arlene was a kind lady who never knew a stranger. She will be missed by all.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, J.L., twin sister Darlene Turnbull and a brother-in-law Kenny Lechner.
Survivors include her children, Brenda Coston, Ricky Bolen, and J.L. Biggs; sisters Bernita Lechner and DeAnna (James) Jueneman; and one brother Louis "Bud" Stegeman. Other survivors include five grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Graveside services were held at 10:30am, July 13th, 2019 with burial at Mount Calvary Cemetery in Holton, Kansas. Father Bob Hasenkamp officiated.
