Mrs. Johnson had worked in dress factories in Onaga and Holton.
She was born Nov. 23, 1913, in Seneca, the daughter of Will and Zella Symmonds Winkler. She grew up in Seneca and attended Seneca schools. She lived in Frankfort since 1955.
Mrs. Johnson was a member of Annunciation Catholic Church in Frankfort and the Altar Society at the church.
She was married to Louis Stegeman Nov. 7, 1934, in Kelly. He died May 14, 1964. She was married to Andrew Johnson Sept. 6, 1968, in Hiawatha. He died in 1987.
Survivors include four daughters, Bernita Lechner, Seneca, DeAnna Jueneman, Hanover, and twins, Darlene Turnbull, Vermillion, and Arlene Biggs, Westmoreland, Tenn.; a son, Louis “Bud” Stegeman, Tulsa, Okla,; three sisters, Evelyn Haverkamp and Millie Tanking, both of Seneca, and Zita Becker, Hiawatha; 20 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
Mass of Christian burial was at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Annunciation Catholic Church in Frankfort. Graveside services were at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday at Mount Calvary Catholic Cemetery in Holton.
Padden Funeral Chapel, Frankfort was in charge of the arrangements.
