Mrs. Matilda Rasmussen, 91, of Goldfield died Tuesday at Mercy Hospital, Fort Dodge.

Funeral services will be Friday at 2 p.m. at the Baptist Church in Renwick. Rev. Ronald E. Cowles will officiate and burial will be in Glenwood Cemetery, Goldfield.

Mrs. Rasmussen is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Flora Stroud Eggerth of Swea City, and George Schlesinger of Goldfield, also 4 step children, Roy Rasmussen, Clarion, Oliver and Ralph Rasmussen of Goldfield and Paul Rasmussen of Eagle Grove, grandchildren and great grandchildren also survive including one grandson, Durward Stroud of Concord, Calif., who made his home with his grandparents from the time he was five years old until he entered military service, also a granddaughter, Alys Luloff of Jesup who made her home with them for about six years

Mrs. Rasmussen was born May 6, 1876 at Wellsburg and was educated there. She came to Wright County at the age of 16. She was married to Julius Schlesinger in 1896 and he died in 1911. She was married to C. L. Rasmussen in 1920, who died in 1944.

She is also survived by two sisters, Mrs. Nellie Loy of Mason City, Mrs. Mertha Cox of Clear Lake, and two brothers, Geo. Frisbie of Emmetsburg and Ben Frisbie of Britt.
