Elizabeth Boice "Libbie" Carson, was the daughter of Abram Hillyer Carson and Mary Jane Hill.

She married Fred Burr Lyon, son of Walter Bradley Lyon and Elizabeth Eells, on 18 Dec 1895 in Walton, Delaware Co, NY.

They had three children: Esther Louise Lyon (1897-1980), Walter Eells Lyon (1902-1958) and Marvin B Lyon (1909-1993).
