Willibold W. "Bill" Bieker, 92, Topeka, Saturday, Feb. 10, 1996 at a Topeka hospital.
He was born Aug. 19, 1903 in Schoenchen in Ellis County, the son of Alexander an Mary Dreher Bieker.
He was fruit & produce manager for Westboro Grocery and Green's Grocery, both in Topeka, about 49 years. He was member of St. Joseph Catholic Church.
He was married to Susie Burghart Sept. 11, 1923. She died Sept. 12, 1985.
Survivors include daughter, Dorothy Burghart, Topeka; two brothers, Louis Bieker, Hoxie, and Martin Bieker, Grainfield; a sister, Theresa Asbough, Park; three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Joseph's Catholic Church. Burial will be in Mount Calvary Cemetery. Mr. Bieker will lie in state from 2 to 9 pm Tuesday at Brennan-Mathena Funeral Home where a parish rosary will be recited at 7 pm Tuesday.
