Orval “Bill” Monroe Lerch, age 94, passed away on Friday, April 17, 2020 at his residence in Pass Christian.

Mr. Bill was native of Beechwoods, Pennsylvania and resided on the MS Gulf Coast since the 1970’s. He was retired truck driver.

He was preceded in death by his parents, George Frank Lerch and Garetta Curry Lerch; sister, Melreida Lerch; brother, Lazern Lech; half-brother, Merle Lerch; sons, Darrel Lerch and Larry Lerch; daughter, Donna Warnick, grandson, Robert Lerch.

He is survived by his loving wife of 32 years, Betty Penton Lerch; son, Orval “Bud” Lerch; daughters-in-laws, Bess Lerch and Shelly Lerch; grandchildren, Gayle Williams, Robert Warnick, Kimberly Lerch, Timothy Lerch, Kelli Ohlinger, Jamie Lerch; great grandchildren, April Kause, Candice Warnick, Joseph Lerch, Tamela Grasso, Ryan Ohlinger, Dennis Ohlinger, and Marissa Ohlinger; great-great grandchildren, Kyleigh McBurney and Aspen Jones; 2 step-sons; 1 step-daughter; 8 step-grandchildren; 19 step- great grandchildren; 2 step-great-great grandchildren.

He was a loving and wonderful husband, grandpa, dad, brother, and uncle. Although you are gone, we will always be together, and your spirit will live on in each of us forever. We Love you and you will be missed so very much!

Due to the current Covid-19 pandemic a private family graveside service will be held on Wednesday, April 22, 2020 at 3:00PM.
