She was the daughter of William J. and Emily (Holthaus) Brackman. On Sep 5, 1955, at St. Nicholas Church, Osgood, she married James L. Barga, who survives in Coldwater.
Also surviving are five children: William L. (Diana Morsey) and Jerome B. (Diane) Barga, both North Star, Janet E. (Carl) Kesic, Canal Winchester, John E. (Barbara) Barga, Salisberry, MD, and Diane (John) Huelskamp, St. Henry; five siblings and in-laws: Barb Brackman, Norma (Don) Purcell, Paul (Valerie) Brackman, Janice (Delbert) Dirksen and Vernon Brackman; and twelve grandchildrenn and seven great-grandchildren.
Deceased are two brothers: Donald and Eugene Brackman; and a sister-in-law, Ruth Brackman.
A hardworking homemaker who loved to cook and care for people, she was a member of St. Louis Catholic Church, North Star, and the St. Ann's Ladies' Sodality. She had an infectious smile and laugh and will be deeply missed by her family and friends.
A Mass of Christian burial following all CDC guidelines will be at St. Louis Church, North Star. Burial will follow in St. Louis Cemetery, North Star.
