Mrs. Marie Risch Succumbs to Illness

Mrs. Marie Risch, wife of Karl Risch, died Wednesday morning at her home, 504 East Laurel Street after an illness of several months. Born in Germany, Mrs. Risch resided in Syracuse 50 years. She was an honorary member of the Ladies auxiliaries of Syracuse Liederkranz Syracuse Turn Verein and a member of the ladies' auxiliary of the German Pioneer Society. Surviving besides her husband are one daughter, Mrs. Frank M. Salanger; one son, Dr Otto C. Risch of New York City; one sister, Mrs. Carl Hatig of Little Falls, and two grandsons, Robert E. Risch and Bernard R. Salanger. Funeral services will be conducted at the funeral rooms of A. C. Schumacher Saturday at 2 P.M. by the Rev. Dr. Edward L. Keller, pastor of First English Lutheran Church. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery.
