OBITUARY
MR. C. A. SPECHT.— The death of Charles August Specht, aged 58 occurred yesterday morning, A well-known resident of Maryborough, he was born at Tinana, and was the eldest son of the late Mr. and Mrs. August Specht, Maryborough. The late Mr. Specht was an employee of Walkers Ltd. for 10 years, and a member of the Excelsior Lodge, No. 1 P.A. F.S.O.A. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. A. M. Specht. and a family of three sons and two daughters — Cyril (A.I.F., New Guinea). Bevan (Militia. Enoggera), and Vernon Specht (Maryborough); and Mrs. S. Franklin (Owanyilla) and Mrs. H. S. Wilson (Rockhampton), and brothers Albert Specht (Railway Department. Maryborough), and Henry Specht (Sydney); sisters, Mrs. A. R. White (Granville), Mrs. H. Bradshaw (Brisbane), and Mrs. A. Wells (Maryborough). The funeral takes place this atternoon, at 3 o'clock, from the Walker street Methodist Church.
