OBITUARY.
On Sunday afternoon William Frederick Adolph Specht, aged 41 years, was found dead outside his but on Mr. Geo. Zuller's property near Mungar where he had lain down after having pains in the stomach. Mr. Speeht had been working for Mr. Zuller for a number of years. On Sunday afternoon he complained of having pains in the stomach and went away to rest. Some time after he was found dead outside his quarters. It was ascertained that the deceased had died from natural causes. He was born, at Tinana. He enlisted in Maryborough and belonged to the 42nd Battalion, serving two years in the Great War. He was wounded in France, and invalided home, unfit for service. He leaves a sorrowing mother, Mrs. B. Specht, of Ferry-lane, three brothers, namely Carl, Albert, and Henry, and three sisters, Mrs. B. White, Mrs. H. Bradshaw and Mrs. A Wells. The funeral will take place this morning at 10 o'clock from Messrs. Kirk and Son's funeral parlour and members of the R.S.S.I.L.A. are requested to attend.
