At the time of her death she was survived by three sons, Jack (Mary Ann) Kern of Flushing, Tom (Donna) Kern of Tucson, Arizona, and Richard (Jeri) Kern of Houston, Texas, one daughter Linda Kern of Murray, Kentucky; a son in law Wayland Back of St. Louis, Missouri, nine grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her daughter Barbara in January 1999 and a son who passed away at birth.
